Reference Group - Numeracy

A full day professional development day was held at Katunga PS on Wednesday 12th of October involving a numeracy reference group which represented 12 of the 14 schools in the Broken Creek Cluster.
 
 
 
 
 
Kate Atkin informing reference group members about the Numurkah Area Maths Day which can be implemented by other areas in the cluster ( Cobram, Nathalia ). Each of the 3 areas of the cluster now has a folder of maths day activities which can be implemented over a 3 year cycle.
 
 
 
 
 
Teachers involved in the day addressed the following issues:
 
* Curriculum Day planning
* Smorgasbord and PD planning
* Kate Atkin presentation and information - Numurkah Cell Maths Day
* Funding opportunity - ASISTM
* Show and Tell session - Cluster Website.
