CensusAtSchool is a non compulsory education project brought to you by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). It is a FREE Internet based data collection and analysis project being conducted throughout 2006. Students respond to questions of interest about themselves by completing the CensusAtSchool online questionnaire. The questionnaire response data is then released back to teachers and students providing real, relevant data, for use with the supporting activities across the curriculum in all states and territories.

Student Action Teams Manual

Mad Day Kit
MAD DAY is a one day activity that allows you to explore concepts of student action and awareness that can create positive change in the community. It helps you identify your students concerns, values and how they see their role in the community. Most importantly, it develops a day of action that empowers students to see and believe that they have the ability to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. MAD DAY is the day that schools right across Australia will join together to make a difference in their homes, schools and local community. There are 3 ways that you can participate in MAD DAY:
A. As a stand alone one day activity
B. As a day to launch a new r.u. MAD ? project
C. As a day to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of your student's past projects.
